«Suite française» 7/2024.

Momento francese

Il numero invita a riflettere sull’alchimia intellettuale che il soggiorno più o meno prolungato in Francia mette in moto in autori e autrici di altri paesi.

Tra le figure che potrebbero essere prese in esame segnaliamo, a puro titolo di esempio:

Edmund Burke, Mary Wollstonecraft, Alessandro Manzoni, Karl Marx, Ivan Turgenev, Walter Benjamin, Curzio Malaparte, Maria Zambrano, Jorge Semprun, Alba de Céspedes, Toni Negri.

Nell’abstract saranno indicati:

– l’autore/l’autrice su cui si intende intervenire;

– il periodo (o i periodi) in cui ha soggiornato in Francia;

– le ragioni per cui si ritiene che quel soggiorno abbia influito sul suo pensiero.

French Moment

This issue calls to reflect upon the cultural impact that a more or less prolonged stay in France generates on authors from abroad.

Thinkers that might be taken into account include, but are not limited to, Edmund Burke, Mary Wollstonecraft, Alessandro Manzoni, Karl Marx, Ivan Turgenev, Walter Benjamin, Curzio Malaparte, Maria Zambrano,  Jorge Semprun, Alba de Céspedes, Toni Negri.

The abstract should point out:

– the author(s) whose research is being referred to;

– the period(s) when he/she stayed in France;

– the reasons why that stay is believed to have influenced his/her thinking.

Ce numéro invite à réfléchir sur l’alchimie intellectuelle que le séjour plus ou moins prolongé en France met en mouvement chez des auteurs et autrices d’autres pays.

Parmi les figures qui pourraient être examinées, citons, à titre d’exemple: Edmund Burke, Mary Wollstonecraft, Alessandro Manzoni, Karl Marx, Ivan Turgenev, Walter Benjamin, Curzio Malaparte, Maria Zambrano,  Jorge Semprun, Alba de Céspedes, Toni Negri.

Dans le résumé seront indiqués:

– l’auteur/l’autrice sur qui on entend intervenir ;

– la période (ou les périodes) pendant laquelle il/elle a séjourné en France ;

– les raisons pour lesquelles on pense que ce séjour a influencé sa pensée.

Modalità di presentazione

Le proposte, di non oltre 2.000 battute, corredate da un titolo provvisorio e da una brevissima nota biografica, saranno inviate a redazione@suitefrancaise.it entro il 15 gennaio 2024.

L’esito della selezione sarà comunicato entro il 15 febbraio 2024.

I contributi definitivi, di lunghezza compresa tra 20.000 e 50.000 battute, con un abstract e cinque parole chiave in inglese (collocati in un file a parte), saranno redatti conformemente alle regole editoriali della rivista. Dovranno giungere entro il 30 giugno 2024 e saranno sottoposti a processo di revisione con doppia lettura cieca. L’uscita del numero è prevista per l’autunno: Suite française 7/2024.

Arrangements for the submission

The proposals, not exceeding 2.000 characters, accompanied by a temporary title and a brief biographical note, have be sent to redazione@suitefrancaise.it not later than January 15, 2024.

The selection will be announced by February 15, 2024.

The definitive papers, between 20.000 and 50.000 characters long, with an introductive abstract and five keywords (in apart file), will be drafted in accordance with the editorial rules of the journal. They must arrive by June 30, 2024, in time for the double anonimous peer review. The issue is scheduled for the autumn: Suite française 7/2024.

Modalités de présentation

Les propositions, de maximum 2.000 signet et accompagnées par un titre provisoire et un très bref  cv, seront envoyées à redazione@suitefrancaise.it avant le 15 janvier 2024.

Les résultats de la séléction seront communiqueés avant le 15 février 2024.

Les articles définitifs, en anglais, français et italien, de longueur comprise entre les 20.000 et les 50.000 signe, accompagnés par un abstract et cinq mots-clé en anglais (dans un file à part),  seront rédigés conformement aux règles éditoriales de la revue. Ils devront parvenir avant le 30 juin 2024 et seront soumis à un procès de révision de double lecture anonyme.

La sortie du numéro est prevue pour l’automne: «Suite française» 7/2024.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The magazine hosts articles about French culture and politics. Authors respond to the call, which each time will focus on a different theme. The articles – in French, English or Italian, in Word format and between 20,000 and 50,000 characters long, including footnotes and spaces – will be sent to redazione@suitefrancaise.it and submitted for review by two anonymous scholars. The character used is Baskerville: 12 pt for the text and 10 pt for footnotes.

The essays, broken down into paragraphs, must be accompanied by five keywords and a short  abstract in a language different from the one of the text.

Citations in the text are placed between guillemets: « », while terms to be highlighted are italicised or else placed between neutral quotation marks: “ ”.

Long citations are to be placed inside the body of the text without any quotation market, as self-standing indented 11 pt paragraphs. Any omitted part of the text inside the quotation must be indicated as follows: […].

Notes, which must be limited to the essential ones both in number and in extension, are numbered with Arabic numerals and are footnotes.

NORMES ÉDITORIALES

La revue accueille des articles sur la culture et la politique française. Les auteurs répondentàun appel à contributionqui portera à chaque fois sur un thème différent. Les articles – en français, anglais ou italien, enformat Word, entre 20.000 et 50.000 caractères notes et espaces vides compris – sont envoyés à  redazione@suitefrancaise.it et soumis à la lecture de deuxévaluateursanonymes. La police utilisée est Baskerville : les dimensions sont 12 pour le texte et 10 pour les notes.

Les essais, structurés en paragraphes, doivent être accompagnés par cinq mots clé et un bref  résumé en anglais.

Les citations figurant dans le texte sont mises entre guillemets : «  », alors que les termes à mettre en évidence peuvent être mis en italiqueou entre ces autres signes :“ ”.

Les longues citations sont insérées dans le corps du texte sans aucun guillemet, mais comme paragraphe à part entière, de dimension 11 et à la ligne par rapport au texte. Au cas où une partie du texte de la citation serait omis, il doit être indiqué de la manière suivante […].

Les notes, essentielleset peunombreuses,sont numérotées en séquence, en chiffres arabes et en pied de page. Dans la première citation le nom de l’auteur est précède par l’initiale du prénom.
