Secondo natura

In quali teorie politiche e sociali, in quali espressioni artistiche e culturali la natura ha svolto una parte centrale? Quando la natura ha ricoperto un ruolo fondamentale, di che tipo è stato questo ruolo? Attivo o passivo? Positivo o negativo? Utopico o distopico? La natura è stata avvertita come uno strumento docile o una forza incontrollata? Un’amica o una nemica?

«Suite française» invita a riflettere su questo tema, oggi molto attuale, attraverso una prospettiva prevalentemente storica, centrata come suo solito sull’ambito francofono ma aperta a esercizi di comparazione con altre culture.

According to nature

In which political and social theories or artistic and cultural expressions has nature represented a central issue? When has nature played a key role, how has this role been characterized? Active or passive? Positive or negative? Utopian or dystopian? Has nature been seen as a submissive instrument or as an uncontrolled force? Is it a friend or an enemy?

«Suite française» invites everyone to reflect on this very current topic mainly through a historical perspective. As usual, the call is focused on the French-speaking domain, but at the same time it is open to comparison with other cultures.

Selon la nature

Dans quelles théories politiques et sociales, dans quelles expressions artistiques et culturelles, la nature a-t-elle- joué une part centrale? Quand la nature jouait un rôle fondamental, de quel genre de rôle s’agissait-il ? Actif ou passif? Positif ou négatif? Utopique ou distopique? La nature a-t-elle- été perçue comme un instrument docile ou une force hors contrôle? Une amie ou une ennemie?

«Suite française» invite à une réflexion sur ce thème, aujourd’hui très actuel, dans une perspective surtout historique, centrée comme d’habitude sur le domaine francophone mais ouverte à des exercices de comparaison avec d’autres cultures.

Modalità di presentazione:

Le proposte, di non oltre 2.000 battute, corredate da un titolo provvisorio e da una brevissima nota biografica, saranno inviate a redazione@suitefrancaise.it entro il 31 dicembre 2020.
L’esito della selezione sarà comunicato entro il 31 gennaio 2021.
I contributi definitivi, di lunghezza compresa tra 20.000 e 50.000 battute, con un abstract e cinque parole chiave in inglese, saranno redatti conformemente alle regole editoriali della rivista. Dovranno giungere entro il 31 maggio 2021 e saranno sottoposti a processo di revisione con doppia lettura cieca. L’uscita del numero è prevista per l’autunno: Suite française 4/2021.

Arrangaments for the submissions:

The proposals, not exceeding 2.000 characters, accompanied by a temporary title and a brief biographical note, have be sent to redazione@suitefrancaise.it not later than December 31, 2020.
The selection will be announced by January 31, 2021.
The definitive papers, between 20.000 and 50.000 characters long, with an introductive abstract and five keywords, will be drafted in accordance with the editorial rules of the journal. They must arrive by May 31, 2021, in time for the double anonimous peer review. The issue is scheduled for the autumn: Suite française 4/2021.

Modalité de présentation:

Les propositions, qui ne doivent pas dépasser les 2.000 signes, accompagnées d’un titre provisoireet  d’une très brève note biographique, seront envoyées à: redazione@suitefrancaise.it avant le 31 dicembre 2020.
Les résultats de la sélection seront communiqués avant le 31 janvier 2021.
Les contributions définitives, de longueur comprise entre les 20.000 et les 50.000 signes, avec un abstract et cinq mots-clé en anglais, seront rédigées conformément aux normes éditoriales de la revue. Elles doivent parvenir dans le 31 mai 2021 pour être soumises à la procedure de révision de  double lecture anonyme. La sortie du numéro est prevue en automne: Suite française 4/2021.

NORME EDITORIALI

La rivista accoglie articoli sulla cultura e la politica francese. Gli autori rispondono alla callche ogni volta verterà su un tema diverso. Gli articoli – in francese, inglese o italiano, in formato word e compresi fra i 20.000 e i 50.000 caratteri, note e spazi inclusi – vengono inviati a redazione@suitefrancaise.it  e  sottoposti alla lettura di due studiosi per una valutazione anonima. Il carattere utilizzato è Baskerville: le dimensioni sono 12 per il testo e 10 per le note.

I saggi, articolati in paragrafi, devono essere accompagnati da cinque parole chiave e un breve abstract in inglese.

Le citazioni riportate nel testo sono poste fra virgolette a sergente: « », mentre i termini da mettere in evidenza possono essere indicati con il corsivo, oppure ponendoli fra doppi apici: “ ”.

Le citazioni lunghe sono inserite nel corpo del testo senza alcuna virgoletta, ma come paragrafi a sé stanti, di grandezza 11 e rientrati rispetto al testo. Nel caso in cui si tralasci una parte di testo all’interno della citazione, ciò deve essere indicato nel seguente modo: […].

Le note, da contenere a quelle essenziali sia come numero sia come dimensioni, vanno numerate in sequenza con cifre arabe e sono a piè di pagina.
 Nella prima citazione il cognome dell’autore è preceduto dall’iniziale del nome.

Successive citazioni: Williams, Japan cit., p. 56.

Nel caso di volumi collettanei: D. Felice (a cura di), Dispotismo. Genesi e sviluppi di un concetto filosofico-politico, Napoli, Liguori, 2001, vol. 1, p. xvi. Nel caso di volumi collettanei stranieri, dopo il nome del curatore si metterà: (ed.) se si tratta di un solo curatore, (eds.) se si tratta di più di uno.

Nel caso di più di due coautori: H. Williams-D. Sullivan-G. Matthews, Francis Fukuyama and the end of history, Cardiff, University of Wales Press, 1997; oppure H. Williams et al., Francis Fukuyama and the end of history, Cardiff, University of Wales Press, 1997. La stessa regola si applica nel caso di più di due luoghi di edizione.

Per le successive citazioni valgono le regole descritte al punto a) e al punto b).

Nel caso di altro saggio dallo stesso numero, la citazione va ripetuta per intero, per evitare confusioni: A.G. Gargani, La grammatica del tempo, in «Teoria», XX (2000), n. 1, pp. 3-29, p. 25.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

The magazine hosts articles about French culture and politics. Authors respond to the call, which each time will focus on a different theme. The articles – in French, English or Italian, in Word format and between 20,000 and 50,000 characters long, including footnotes and spaces – will be sent to redazione@suitefrancaise.it and submitted for review by two anonymous scholars. The character used is Baskerville: 12 pt for the text and 10 pt for footnotes.

The essays, broken down into paragraphs, must be accompanied by five keywords and a short  abstract in a language different from the one of the text.

Citations in the text are placed between guillemets: « », while terms to be highlighted are italicised or else placed between neutral quotation marks: “ ”.

Long citations are to be placed inside the body of the text without any quotation market, as self-standing indented 11 pt paragraphs. Any omitted part of the text inside the quotation must be indicated as follows: […].

Notes, which must be limited to the essential ones both in number and in extension, are numbered with Arabic numerals and are footnotes.

NORMES ÉDITORIALES

La revue accueille des articles sur la culture et la politique française. Les auteurs répondentàun appel à contributionqui portera à chaque fois sur un thème différent. Les articles – en français, anglais ou italien, enformat Word, entre 20.000 et 50.000 caractères notes et espaces vides compris – sont envoyés à  redazione@suitefrancaise.it et soumis à la lecture de deuxévaluateursanonymes. La police utilisée est Baskerville : les dimensions sont 12 pour le texte et 10 pour les notes.

Les essais, structurés en paragraphes, doivent être accompagnés par cinq mots clé et un bref  résumé en anglais.

Les citations figurant dans le texte sont mises entre guillemets : «  », alors que les termes à mettre en évidence peuvent être mis en italiqueou entre ces autres signes :“ ”.

Les longues citations sont insérées dans le corps du texte sans aucun guillemet, mais comme paragraphe à part entière, de dimension 11 et à la ligne par rapport au texte. Au cas où une partie du texte de la citation serait omis, il doit être indiqué de la manière suivante […].

Les notes, essentielleset peunombreuses,sont numérotées en séquence, en chiffres arabes et en pied de page. Dans la première citation le nom de l’auteur est précède par l’initiale du prénom.
